Privacy Policy
Effective October 4, 2026.
Waterline is provided by Roscommon Group LLC. It has no account system, advertising, analytics or developer-operated backend.
Your drink log
Drink names, types, amounts, dates, your configured quick actions, goal and preferences are stored on your device in a protected container shared by the app and its widget. The log is excluded from device cloud backups. No iCloud library synchronization is provided. Deleting the app or losing your device can remove your log. The app stores trial and purchase-access state in the device Keychain; these records may remain after uninstalling the app.
Apple Health
Health sharing is optional and requires your permission. When enabled, new entries marked Water are written to Apple Health. Coffee, tea, soda and other drink types stay in your local log. Waterline requests permission only to write Water; it does not read your Health data. Widget entries wait to sync until you next open Waterline. Removing a previously shared entry queues removal of that entry from Health while sharing is enabled. Disabling sharing leaves records already in Health in place. You can manage permission and delete Health records in Apple Health. Apple handles its Health storage and synchronization under your Apple settings and policies. We do not receive your water or Health records.
Widgets and purchases
Your chosen widget can display water progress on your Lock Screen. Manage its visibility in iOS settings. Interactive logging may require unlocking. Apple processes the one-time purchase and restore requests. We do not receive payment card details.
