Link Aloud is provided by Roscommon Group LLC for personal text-to-speech reading. By using it, you agree to these terms.

Only import content you are entitled to access and use. You retain your rights in your own content. The app does not bypass paywalls, authentication, or access restrictions. Third-party websites and their content remain subject to their own terms.

Article extraction can omit material or include unrelated page text, and speech can mispronounce names, numbers or punctuation. Verify important information against the original source. The app is a reading convenience and must not be relied on for emergency or safety-critical instructions.

Link Aloud offers annual access for US$9.99 per year. Eligible new subscribers receive a 3-day free introductory trial. No new lifetime purchase is offered. Apple displays the applicable local price and billing terms before purchase. After the free trial, the subscription automatically renews annually unless canceled. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. To avoid renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or current subscription period ends. Manage or cancel from Settings in Link Aloud or your Apple Account subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under applicable law and its policies.

Importing new readings and speech playback require active access. Saved text remains readable after access expires. Existing lifetime purchasers retain their purchased access and are not automatically enrolled in a subscription; previously purchased non-renewing trials retain their original remaining duration. Restore purchases with the same Apple Account. Lifetime access remains subject to app and platform availability, and does not promise future major products or support for every future device. Network access is needed to import links and make or restore purchases. Pasted and saved text can be spoken offline while access is active

Readings and queue data are local to your device. Keep copies of important source material. Deletion, device loss or uninstalling the app can remove data. No cross-device library synchronization is provided.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided as is and as available, without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Roscommon Group LLC is not responsible for losses arising from reliance on extracted content or speech to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Roscommon Group LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits or opportunities; loss or corruption of data; device damage; or losses arising from use of or inability to use the app, extracted text, synthesized speech, saved readings, purchases, bugs, security incidents, Apple services, or reliance on app output. To the same extent, total aggregate liability for all claims arising from Link Aloud or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for Link Aloud during the preceding 12 months or USD $100. These limits apply regardless of legal theory and even if advised of the possibility of loss. They do not exclude liability or remedies that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit.

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Roscommon Group LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising from your unlawful misuse of the app, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights. This section does not apply where prohibited by consumer law or to loss caused by our own unlawful conduct.

Before starting a formal proceeding, you and Roscommon Group must send written notice describing the claim and requested relief and allow 30 days for informal resolution. Except for claims eligible for small-claims court, requests for public injunctive relief where applicable, and disputes that applicable law does not permit to be arbitrated, any dispute arising from Link Aloud or these Terms will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this arbitration agreement. Arbitration will occur remotely when available or, for an in-person hearing, in Bellevue, Washington, unless applicable consumer law or the arbitration rules require another location. Claims may be brought only individually, not as a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action. The arbitrator may award any individual remedy available in court. Roscommon Group will pay fees it is required to pay under the applicable consumer rules and will not seek its legal fees unless the arbitrator finds a claim frivolous or brought for an improper purpose.

You may opt out of the arbitration agreement within 30 days after first accepting these Terms by contacting Link Aloud Support and clearly stating that you opt out of arbitration. Include the email address used for the request and the date you first accepted the Terms; opting out will not affect app access. Washington law governs these Terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs arbitration. For claims not subject to arbitration, you and Roscommon Group consent to the state and federal courts located in King County, Washington, and waive a jury trial to the extent permitted by law. Small-claims rights, mandatory consumer protections, and any jurisdiction or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived remain unaffected.

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including ownership, warranty disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—will survive termination. These Terms and Apple's applicable terms are the complete agreement concerning the app unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Apple is not a party to these terms and does not provide app support. Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement applies where applicable. Contact: matt@roscommon-group.com.
